The purpose of this project was to improve the water quality entering Medicine lake which is located a couple hundred feet downstream of the project. The project consisted of 6 acres tree removal, 65,000 CY muck excavation and haul off, removal of 500 lf wood pedestrian bridge, 74 tons of granite rip rap and associated erosion control. Work had to be completed during winter because the ground is peat and frost was critical for access to the site. The project started in mid January and was completed the end of February. Equipment used (1) Hitachi 330 Excavator, (2) Cat 330 Excavators, (1) Cat D6R Dozer, (20) Quad axel Dump Trucks

The purpose of this project was to stabilize and restore the stream banks of Bassett creek. Major items of work completed were shaping 2,000 LF of stream bank, installing 700 CY of fieldstone rip rap, 1,100 LF of Bio-log, Root wads, rock vanes, cross vanes and 1000 SF of vegetated reinforced slope stabilization. The project was completed during winter conditions due to low flow of the channel. Equipment used (1) Kubota 80 Excavator, (1) Cat 315 Excavator, (1) Cat 259B3 Track Loader, (1) Bobcat T250 Track Loader.
